A few weeks ago, we asked our subscribers the following question Facebook and Instagram to find out their favorite razor and/or trimmer for shaving/trimming their heads. Here are their Top 3!

The Leaf Razor de Leaf Shave

For this one, it's best to be bilingual in English, as their site is only available in that language!

This all-metal shaver holds 3 blades and has a flexible head to reach every nook and cranny.

The advantages of this product :

• Its eco-friendliness, as it will last you a lifetime, unlike plastic razors;
• Blade price: a pack of 50 blades for $12 (about €11);
• They offer to return used blades for recycling;
• The shaver is guaranteed for life, and customer service is impeccable.

The customer reviews on their site are all very complimentary and their consumers speak of ”little or no irritation”for daily shaving. ”First class” customer service or even ”the best razor for shaving your head. Adaptable, easy to use, affordable, comfortable."

The disadvantages of this product :

• Slippery razor handle (the brand offers an accessory to remedy this problem: The Leaf Grip Sleeve) ;

Indeed, some customers complain that it can be difficult to “shave under the nose or above the ears”because the razor head is considered too bulky. • Plastic razor.

One consumer specifies that this shaver is for daily shaving, because “as soon as the hair is a bit long, it's less effective”.

Pitbull Silver PRO 

We move on to the trimmer with the Pitbull Silver PRO, specifically designed for head shaving, making it almost unique on the market.

The advantages of this product :

• A painless shave;
• Very efficient and very fast;
• Very good customer service.

The disadvantages of this product :

• Motor life? ;
• Difficulty cleaning blades.

Some consumers have doubts about the motor's lifespan: "during use, I've found that the motor forces itself too much and shuts down for safety reasons", and about the clipper's efficiency: "even if I insist, hair remains all over my face and head", "as far as precision is concerned, it's still a work in progress".
